  • The tour includes professional guide from the Viking ship Museum. Who will tell you about the Viking society, sailing, raids and trade of the Viking area. So feel free to ask question and hopefully get surprising and interesting answer to your question.
  • Of course, time also set off, so you can enjoy the launch of the Viking Ship, almost like the Vikings themselves did, there in the tiny harbor at the bottom of the fjord(bay). Where you never, during your visit, is more than 50 meters from the sea, the museum staff and volunteers will launch the reconstructed Viking ships.
  • One the route to the Viking ship Museum our driver will give the basic facts about the Kingdom of Denmark, which by the way dates ALL the way the back to the Vikings.

Other worth to know information regarding the tour:

  • Your driver and guides will be English-speaking.
  • Expect a lot of fresh air and a taste of the Danish weather. So for clothing, do as the Danes say; “There is no bad weather, just the wrong clothing!”
  • Should you need more than what the “Taste of Vikings” can offer, the Café is fully equipped to serve you lunch and both warm and cold drinks during your stay.
  • Besides the Café(see menu attached below) there is about 300 meters from the museum a small Danish-style Bakery which mostly has sandwiches and Danish pastry.
  • You are welcome to bring your food, but it must be enjoyed outside in the setting area.

  • People in wheelchairs or user of walking frames should not choose this tour. Cane users, please be aware that wet cobblestones are extremely slippery.
  • Please note, that the driver might refuse you on the tour, should you, despite our recommendation choose this tour. In this case, no refund will be granted.
